What devices does the SHIELD consumer app detect?
The SHIELD consumer personal-safety app detects Apple AirTags, Tile trackers, Samsung SmartTags, Chipolo, and other Bluetooth-enabled tracking devices in your immediate vicinity. This is a consumer-grade feature for individual personal safety; it is not a defense C-UAS or counter-tracker capability.
Does SHIELD work without internet?
Core features like tracker detection and SmokeGuard work offline. SafeWalk and Community Alerts require an internet connection.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your App Store or Google Play account. Go to Settings > Your Name > Subscriptions to manage or cancel.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Most data (Bluetooth scans, audio analysis) stays on your device. Data in transit is encrypted. We never sell your information.
Why does SHIELD need location access?
Location is required for SafeWalk journey monitoring and to display community alerts in your area. You can disable location access in your device settings.
